Halifax police say a 27-year-old man faces several charges including two counts of assault with a weapon following an argument with another man.
Police say the altercation occurred Tuesday in the parking lot of a building along the 6000 block of Almon Street.
A 31-year-old man told police the suspect pulled a knife and chased him before getting into his truck and trying to hit him with the vehicle.
The complainant told police the truck missed him and hit the side of the building before fleeing the area.
Police say they later arrested a 27-year-old suspect in Bedford where a truck was also seized.
In addition to the assault charges the man faces charges including dangerous operation of motor vehicle and possession of a weapon.
