Drivers and passengers involved in a three-vehicle crash near New Glasgow, N.S., on Saturday escaped with minor injuries.

New Glasgow Regional Police say the accident happened near the intersection of Main and Forge streets in Trenton, N.S. around 4:50 p.m.

Police say the 52-year-old driver of a Dodge Ram went through a stop sign while travelling westbound on Forge Street.

The truck collided with a Toyota Corolla and a Toyota Rav on Main Street.

Those involved were uninjured, but the vehicles sustained significant damage.

The 52-year-old was charged with failing to stop at a stop sign.
