Two young women are facing charges after a 21-year-old woman was robbed at her Dartmouth apartment late Sunday afternoon.

Police responded to the apartment on Kennedy Drive before 5 p.m.

Investigators say the woman was inside when three people pushed their way into her home. One of the suspects then threatened her with a knife.

The woman wasn’t injured but her wallet was stolen.

Police later arrested an 18-year-old woman and a 16-year-old girl, both from Dartmouth, at a nearby address.

They each face charges of robbery, break and enter, mischief, possession of a dangerous weapon, uttering threats, and wearing a disguise with intent.

The woman will appear in Dartmouth provincial court Monday while the girl will appear in Halifax youth justice court.

Police are still looking for a male suspect in connection with the incident.
