Police in Kings County, Nova Scotia have destroyed an indoor marijuana grow operation.

On Friday at noon, officers with the Valley Integrated Street Crime Unit executed a search warrant at a home and business on Woodville Road.

Police seized over 400 marijuana plants, grow operation equipment and a firearm.

A 43-year-old man and a 33-year-old man were arrested at the scene but were both released.

The 43-year-old faces charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking and unsafe storage of a firearm. The 33-year-old man faces charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking and production of a scheduled substance. Both men will appear in Kentville Provincial Court on June 1st.

The investigation continues.
