Two people walked away with only minor injuries after a truck flipped and fell off a bridge in Bridgewater, N.S.

Police say it happened at about 4:30 a.m. Sunday on King Street. The driver misjudged a turn and the truck caught a guardrail and overturned, landing in a ravine below. The truck ended up between the bridge it was travelling on and a pedestrian bridge.

The driver is a 48-year-old man and the passenger is a 25-year-old man. Police say alcohol was not a factor in the crash.

The vehicle bridge on King Street will remain closed Sunday as crews repair the damage.
