Two teens are facing charges in connection with a break-in at a high school in Lower Sackville, N.S.

The RCMP responded to Sackville High School on Oct. 19 after the alarm went off around 12:45 a.m.

Investigators say several windows had been smashed, including the windows of an entrance to the school.

They allege the culprits broke into the school and vandalized the building.

Police used the school’s video surveillance cameras to identify the suspects. They were arrested Wednesday.

Two Sackville teens, ages 16 and 17, are facing charges of break and enter, mischief, and mischief over $5,000.

The 17-year-old faces additional charges of possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking, possession of break-in tools and breaching a court order.

He remains in custody and is due to appear in youth court Thursday for a bail hearing.

The younger teen was released from custody on conditions and is due to appear in Halifax youth court on Nov. 27.
