A woman has been airlifted to Halifax with life-threatening injuries after she was struck by a vehicle in New Waterford, N.S. Wednesday morning.
Police say the incident happened around 11:30 a.m. near Plummer Avenue and Smith Street.
A 67-year-old female pedestrian was taken to the Cape Breton Regional Hospital and then airlifted to Halifax with serious, life-threatening injuries.
The incident remains under investigation. There is no word on charges at this time.
