HALIFAX – A woman was robbed at the Prince George Hotel on Market Street in Halifax last night.
Police say shortly after midnight, they were called to the hotel after a 29-year-old woman had been held at knifepoint. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of cash and a cell phone.
Police say the woman was not a member of the hotel's staff, but won't confirm if she was a guest.
The suspect was arrested and released later on Sunday. Police say they are currently looking for a second suspect.
Police say charges are pending as the investigation continues.
