Codiac RCMP are looking into an assault that happened at a nightclub in Moncton Friday night.
The incident happened in the washroom of the Old Cosmo nightclub around 1 a.m.
Police have confirmed there was a weapon involved. However, they are not saying what kind of weapon was used.
A 21-year-old victim was sent to hospital and is in stable condition.
No charges have been laid and police are still searching for a suspect.
