An elderly man is dead following a two-vehicle collision in Caraquet, N.B.
The RCMP responded to the crash on Saint-Pierre Est Boulevard around 1 p.m. Wednesday.
Police say one vehicle crossed the centre line and collided with an oncoming vehicle.
A Bas-Caraquet man was pronounced dead at the scene. He has been identified as 84-year-old Raymond Doiron.
A 23-year-old Caraquet man was sent to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The incident remains under investigation.
