CARAQUET, N.B. -- RCMP say a psychiatric assessment has been ordered for a man accused of setting fire to a home in northeastern New Brunswick.
The Mounties in Caraquet say they were called to a burning home in nearby Bertrand on Aug. 30.
The home on Pinet Street was destroyed.
A police investigation determined the fire was suspicious.
On Tuesday, 31-year-old Jean-Francois Landry of Bertrand was charged with arson in Caraquet provincial court.
