The RCMP is investigating the theft of a motor boat and trailer from a business in Jacksonville, N.B.
Police say a Vortex Chaparral 2016 Sport Boat and a Coyote MFG 2016 trailer were taken from Extreme Torque Motor Sports sometime overnight between Wednesday and Thursday.
Police believe the boat was loaded onto the trailer and driven westbound on Highway 2 towards Grand Falls.
The boat was found in the median of Highway 2, near Grand Falls, Thursday morning. The trailer was found roughly 300 metres away.
Police are trying to track down the person, or persons, responsible for the theft. They are asking anyone with information, or who may have seen the boat being transported, to contact Woodstock RCMP.
