The Province of Nova Scotia released its public account statements on Thursday, which included a list of all public sector employees who make more than $100,000 per year.

The presidents of Nova Scotia’s major universities collected compensation of close to $3 million in the fiscal year, which ended on March 31, 2015.

Dalhousie University and St. Francis Xavier University both changed presidents during the year.

The following numbers reflect the total compensation of the university presidents:

Dalhousie University – Tom Traves - $457,521

Dalhousie University – Richard Florizone - $390,052

St. Francis Xavier University – Sean Riley - $449,995

St. Francis Xavier University – Kent MacDonald - $215,532

Saint Mary’s University – Colin Dodds - $326,384

Acadia University – Ray Ivany - $281,820

Cape Breton University – David Wheeler - $262,000

Mount Saint Vincent University – Ramona Lumpkin - $250,286

University of King’s College – George Cooper - $180,250

Nova Scotia College of Art and Design – Dianne Taylor-Gearing - $142,123
