A Nova Scotia woman is facing impaired driving charges after she allegedly smashed into the back of another vehicle at a McDonald’s drive-thru.

The RCMP responded to the McDonald’s on Sackville Drive in Lower Sackville shortly after 1 a.m. Sunday.

Police say the driver of a 2013 Volkswagen Golf was waiting for an order when a 2015 Chevrolet truck smashed into the back of the car, causing damage to both vehicles.

No one was injured.

Police allege the driver of the truck refused to provide a breath sample.

The 27-year-old Mount Uniacke woman is due to appear in Dartmouth provincial court at a later date to face charges related to impaired driving.
