CARAQUET, N.B. - A 39-year-old New Brunswick man has been sentenced to three years in prison after pleading guilty to child pornography charges.
The man was arrested last July as part of Operation Snapshot III, a national initiative targeting child sex offenders.
He is facing charges including sexual interference, invitation to sexual touching and possession of child pornography.
He pleaded guilty to all charges.
The man will be added to the National Sex Offender Registry for life, and cannot possess firearms, use the Internet or have contact with anyone under age 16.
