A popular biker rally in Cape Breton that was at risk of being cancelled begins today.
When word broke earlier this summer that Bikefest could be cancelled due to financial problems, bikers businesses and sponsors rallied to save the event.
Organizers have made some changes, including switching the name to The Cape Breton Bike Rally.
The revamped event will be held at Centre 200 in Sydney and will run from Friday until Monday.
This would have been the sixth year for Bikefest.
