A woman was hit by a car while try to cross at the intersection of Primrose Street and Victoria Road in Dartmouth at 11:40 a.m. on Saturday.
She had some scrapes on her face as a result of the accident and was taken to hospital as a precaution.
She was crossing against a red light when she was hit and has since been charged with “pedestrian moving into a path of vehicle when impractical for the vehicle to be able to stop.”
