Police are continuing their investigation into two suspicious deaths in Sheet Harbour, N.S. today.

Forensic investigators are back on the scene of a camp that was destroyed in a fire Wednesday.

RCMP received a 911 call shortly after 2 p.m. Wednesday of a structure fire near the 450 block of Highway 374.

After further investigation, police found two bodies in the burned-out rubble of the camp, which was destroyed in the blaze.

The cause of the fire has yet to be determined.

Police are describing the deaths as suspicious, pending the outcome of the investigation. They are also awaiting the medical examiner’s report on the cause of death for both victims.

The victims’ names have not been released.
