Police now treating Moncton woman's death as suspicious

The RCMP say a Moncton’s woman death is now being treated as suspicious after new information came to light.

Police say 49-year-old Lillian Morrell died in her home on Evergreen Street on Oct. 10.

At first, her death was not considered suspicious. However, police say they received information late last month that led them to question the circumstances surrounding Morrell’s death.

Police say the exact cause of death remains under investigation.

They are asking anyone with information to contact them.
