Halifax Regional Police are looking for a suspect after a man was stabbed in Dartmouth Friday morning.
Police responded to Thistle Street around 9 a.m. after receiving a report that a man had been stabbed following an altercation.
Officers located a 26-year-old man at the scene. He was taken to hospital with life-threatening stab wounds.
Police say they have identified a suspect and are looking for him.
Investigators don’t believe the incident was a random act as the men are known to each other.
The incident remains under investigation.
