A police officer from Summerside may face serious charges in connection with a car crash earlier this week.
Police were called to a two-vehicle collision in Summerside Monday afternoon.
They say both vehicles were extensively damaged in the crash and a female was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
An off-duty police officer was arrested at the scene and investigators suspect alcohol was a factor in the crash.
The investigation is ongoing.
