RCMP say human remains found in a wooded area of Moncton last month are those of a 19-year-old Moncton man.
A person walking along Wheeler Boulevard spotted the skeletal remains in a field near the Church Street overpass just before 4 p.m. on Dec. 22, 2012.
Police say dental records have confirmed the remains are those of Sunny Blue Best-Buckle.
The man had not been reported missing to police.
Police are still investigating a cause of death. They say there is no evidence of foul play at this time, but they are not ruling it out just yet.
Police are also working to determine how long the remains may have been in the woods and are asking for help from the public.
Anyone with information or anyone who may have seen or spoken to Best-Buckle before his death is asked to contact police.
