New Brunswick RCMP say two officers were treated in hospital after attempting to stop an all-terrain vehicle on Saturday.

Both officers have been released from hospital. The passenger of the side-by-side ATV turned himself in to police, but was released without charges.

Staff Sgt. Jeff Johnston says the incident happened shortly before 5 p.m. in Perth-Andover, in western New Brunswick.

The Mounties are investigating the incident and have not yet made any arrests. They are still looking for the driver of the ATV.
