A 44-year-old man was sent to hospital with significant injuries after he was struck by a vehicle in Head of St. Margaret’s Bay, N.S., Monday morning.

Halifax District RCMP say the collision happened around 6:45 a.m. along St. Margaret’s Bay Road.

Police say the cyclist was struck by a truck that failed to stop. He was sent to hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.

Officers are now asking for help in locating a black truck with a flat deck.
