The RCMP is asking for the public’s help in identifying a man following a suspicious incident in Mahone Bay, N.S.
Police say a 16-year-old girl and a 14-year-old girl were walking along Edgewater Street around 3:45 p.m. Wednesday when a man in a vehicle pulled up alongside them and tried to talk to them.
Police say the man asked the teens to get in his vehicle. They refused and the man drove away.
The man is described as being in his mid-thirties, with short hair, dark brown scruff and a dark complexion. He is on the heavier side of a medium build and spoke with a slight accent.
Police say he was driving what is believed to be a silver four-door sport utility vehicle with black material hanging from the back window.
Investigators would like to speak to the man and are asking anyone with information about the incident or his identity to contact them.
