The RCMP is looking for a man who allegedly offered a drive to a 13-year-old boy in Lower Sackville, N.S.

Police say the teen was on the sidewalk at the intersection of Cobequid Road and Glenadale Drive around 6 p.m. Monday when a car stopped at the lights.

The boy told police the driver rolled down his window and asked him if he wanted a ride in his car. The boy declined and the driver continued to offer him a drive, then left.

Police searched the area but they were unable to locate the man or his vehicle.

The driver is described as a black man in his mid to late 30s, with black hair and a few days of facial hair. He was wearing a black jacket and a white toque.

The man’s vehicle is described as a black, newer model four-door car with rear-tinted windows.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact police.
