The RCMP are asking for the public’s help in tracking down two calves stolen from a barn in Freetown, P.E.I.

Police say the animals were taken from the barn on Route 8 overnight Saturday.

The owner told police that the rope which secures a fence on the property had been untied.

Police say it appears the suspect, or suspects, entered the property through an alternate driveway, leaving footprints and tire marks leading to the barn.

The RCMP are asking anyone with information about the theft to contact them.
