A Saint John police officer is in hospital after an accidental shooting at a firing range.

Officers responded to the Saint John Police Shooting range just outside the city early Monday morning.

Police say a 46-year-old officer was taken to the Saint John Regional Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
