SAINT JOHN, N.B. -- Police are warning that a man wanted in connection with a recent shooting in Ontario is believed to have been in southern New Brunswick.
The Saint John Police Force says they have received information that Sirvon Edwards is currently or has recently been in the area.
Police are asking the public for help in finding the 31-year-old man, although they warn that he is dangerous and could be armed.
He's described as black with several tattoos including the number 187 on his left forearm and was wearing a white hooded sweatshirt covered by a black jacket.
Investigators say the suspect is known to police and has a history of violence.
