The Saint John Police Force is turning to the public to help find a ring that was stolen from a home in mid-October.

Police say a home on Ellerdale Street was broken into between Oct. 11 and Oct. 18.

A number of items were taken from the home, including a 3.66 karat diamond ring valued at approximately $26,000.

Police say the ring has great sentimental value to the owner.

Two suspects have since been arrested and charged. While a number of items were recovered, the ring is still missing.

Anyone who may have information on the ring’s location is asked to contact the Saint John Police Force or Crime Stoppers.
