Arrest warrants have been issued for two brothers following a violent home invasion and fatal stabbing in Saint John.

The Saint John Police Force is looking for Bradley and Brandon Saia, both 21, in connection with the incident.

Police responded to a medical assistance call at a home on Prince Street West shortly after 4:30 a.m. Saturday.

Investigators say the home had been broken into and two young men had been stabbed.

An 18-year-old man was taken to Saint John Regional Hospital with serious injuries and later died in hospital.

Police have since determined the teen was a suspect in the incident. Investigators have not released his name.

A 21-year-old man, whom police say lived in the home, was also taken to hospital where he was listed in stable condition.

Police have since arrested 20-year-old Ronald McCutcheon in connection with the incident. He faces a robbery charge.

A 21-year-old suspect has also been arrested on a weapons offence.

Investigators are now looking for the Saia brothers, as well as a 16-year-old who cannot be named, in connection with the incident.

Bradley Neil Saia is described as five-foot-ten and 145 pounds with brown hair. Brandon Michael Saia is five-foot nine and 120 pounds with brown hair.

Police don’t believe the home invasion was a random incident.

Anyone with information about the incident or the Saia brothers’ whereabouts is being asked to call the Saint John Police Force at 648-3333 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-Tips (8477).
