Selena Gomez is bringing her Revival tour to the Maritimes this summer.

The pop singer will hit the stage at Moncton Stadium this Labour Day weekend, with special guests Flo Rida and DNCE, as well as Canadian artists Shawn Hook and Francesco Yates.

“They’ve invited us to go and do a show there, and we’re honoured and proud,” said concert promoter David Carver.

Gomez is known for popular hits such as “Come and Get It,” “Love You Like a Love Song” and “Good For You.”

Flo Rida is currently topping the charts with “Our House” while “Cake By the Ocean” by newcomers DNCE - fronted by Joe Jonas - has racked up 91 million views on YouTube.

Hook is known for his hit single “Sound of Your Heart” while Yates topped charts around the world with “Better to be Loved.”

Moncton Stadium hosted the CFL and FIFA Women’s World Cup in 2015, but this will be the first concert held at the facility.

When the stadium opened in 2010, city officials promoted it as a sports stadium that could double as a concert venue.

“We've been waiting to put on a big event at the stadium for a few years now,” said Isabelle LeBlanc of the City of Moncton. “We're very excited to see this is going to be the first show and hopefully, certainly, it won't be the last.”

Site crews will be in Moncton next week to finalize the stage set-up.

AtlanticFest 2016 is set for Sunday, Sept. 4. Tickets go on sale Saturday, June 11 at 10 a.m.

General admission tickets are $79.50, reserved grandstand seats are $99.50 and a limited number of premium reserved grandstand seats will be available for $199.50.

“The day that we confirmed everything, Selena had the number one song in North America, FloRida had the number two song in North America and DNCE had the number three song in North America,” said Carver.

AtlanticFest 2016 is also coming to Newfoundland and Labrador. The artists will perform at Paradise Park on Saturday, Sept. 3.
