Environment Canada has posted winter storm warnings for much of northern New Brunswick.
The storm has already pounded the midwest U-S and hit southwestern Ontario and Quebec.
The forecast calls for snow and blowing snow in the southwest and eastern regions of New Brunswick, with about 25 centimetres or more expected.
Parts of Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island are also expected to be affected, with storm watches or rainfall warnings already posted.
A storm system hitting parts of Ontario and Quebec is headed for the Maritimes.
