A 16-year-old boy is facing charges after another 16-year-old boy was allegedly stabbed in Oromocto, N.B.
The RCMP say the incident happened at Anniversary Park shortly before 10:30 p.m. Tuesday.
The alleged victim was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and later released.
The accused is facing charges of aggravated assault and uttering threats to cause death. He appeared in Burton youth court on Wednesday and was remanded into custody at the New Brunswick Youth Centre.
He is due back in court on Monday.
The incident remains under investigation.
