A 17-year-old boy from Moser River, N.S. died after he crashed his vehicle on side of the road in Sheet Harbour, N.S., Saturday night.
Police say the crash happened on Highway 7 around 9:45 p.m.
Sgt. Craig Smith of Halifax District RCMP says the teen, who was the only person in the vehicle, tried to pass another vehicle with oncoming traffic in the passing lane.
When he tried to swerve back into his own lane, his vehicle left the road.
No one else was injured.
The identity of the victim has not been released.
