Two men are facing charges after police seized drugs and weapons from a home in Stellarton, N.S. on the weekend.
Police executed a search warrant at the Hudson Street home Saturday morning. Officers seized a quantity of prescription pills, marijuana, hashish, illegal cigarettes, cash, a switch blade and a brass knuckle knife from the home.
A 57-year-old man and a 50-year-old man were arrested without incident. They were released from custody and are due to appear in Pictou provincial court on August 10.
Police say the men face charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a prohibited weapon and possession of illicit cigarettes.
