Two men are dead after a two-vehicle crash in Northern New Brunswick Tuesday night.
RCMP say the accident happened just after 10:30 p.m. on Highway 8 between Miramichi and Bathurst.
The driver of one vehicle, 58, and a passenger, 43, were both killed.
The men were from Moncton.
Police say another passenger, a 24-year-old woman from Dieppe, was injured and taken to hospital.
The driver of the other vehicle, a 47-year-old man from the Bouctouche area, was also injured.
An RCMP Collision Reconstructionist was on the scene for several hours Tuesday night, in an effort to determine the cause of the crash.
Police say an early investigation reveals speed may have been a factor.
