Two Nova Scotia men face charges after a break-in at a gas station the first week of July.

Yarmouth RCMP say Adam Blake Randall, 31, of Lower Sackville, and Brenton Matthew Laprade, 22, of Newport face several charges after the Tusket Ultramar was broken into during the early morning hours of July 5th.

The incident happened the same day post-tropical Arthur made landfall in the Maritimes.

Officers say a large amount of tobacco products and lottery tickets were stolen from the business.

Search warrants at homes in Newport and Lower Sackville resulted in the seizure of several items relating to the break and enter.

Both men are charged with break and enter, possession of stolen property and possession of break-in instruments.

In addition, Randall is also charged with wearing a disguise with intent to commit an offence.

The suspects have been released from custody and are both scheduled to appear in Yarmouth provincial court on September 23rd, 2014.
