Two men are facing a series of weapons charges after a south-end Halifax home was broken into early Saturday morning.

Halifax Regional Police say they received a call around 3:30 a.m. that a home in the 5300 block of Inglis Street had been invaded.

There were no injuries and police do not believe it was a random act.

Officers quickly arrested two 28-year-old men a short distance away.

The men will face the charges in Halifax provincial court on Monday.
