Halifax Regional Police are looking for the owner of a large sum of money found inside a book donated to Value Village.
Police responded to the store on Chain Lake Drive on May 20 after an employee found thousands of dollars hidden inside a university textbook.
Investigators say the book would have been donated at the store’s drive-in donation area on May 19 or May 20.
The owner must be able to specify the amount of money, the denominations, and details about the textbook, including the subject matter, in order to claim the money.
