SAINT JOHN, N.B. -- A violent offender wanted on a Canada-wide warrant has been arrested in New Brunswick.
Police in Saint John say William Wayne Cummer was arrested Sunday night at a rooming house in the city.
Cummer was taken into custody without incident.
Last week, police issued a statement saying Cummer has an extensive criminal background that involves numerous violent offences and should not be approached.
