A single-vehicle crash in Scoudouc, N.B. Saturday afternoon has left an 18-year-old woman dead.

Southeast District RCMP say at around 1:45 p.m., the vehicle was travelling eastbound on Highway 2 when it crashed into the median and rolled over.

Two of the four passengers were ejected from the vehicle.

The 18-year-old woman was taken to hospital in critical condition. She died from her injuries the next day.

The 18-year-old male driver was treated in hospital and released. A 17-year-old male passenger and an 18-year-old female passenger remain in hospital in stable condition.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
