RCMP say a New Brunswick woman found dead in her home earlier this week was murdered.
Police were called to the woman’s home in Saumarez, near Tracadie-Sheila, around 10:45 a.m. Tuesday.
They say someone phoned police and expressed concern for the woman’s well-being after she failed to show up for work.
Police have identified the victim as 59-year-old Kathleen Arseneault.
Investigators believe the case is an isolated incident.
They have identified a suspect, but no charges have been laid at this point.
