A 23-year-old woman suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries after she was hit in a Cole Harbour, N.S. crosswalk.
Cole Harbour RCMP say the collision happened at the intersection of Cole Harbour Road and Perron Drive.
They say the woman was hit after she activated the crosswalk lights and proceeded to cross the road.
The pedestrian was later transported to hospital.
The 68-year-old male driver has been charged with failing to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk.
