The man was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police arrested a young woman in connection with the incident around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.

They say the woman, who cannot be named because she is a young offender, is facing charges of robbery, aggravated assault, and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
