HALIFAX -- Nova Scotia Health continues to identify potential COVID-19 exposures throughout the province.

EXPOSURES RELEASED APRIL 16

Flight Exposure

Anyone on the following flight in the specified rows and seats should immediately take an online self-assessment COVID-19 test, or call 811, to arrange for testing, regardless of whether or not they have symptoms. All other individuals on the flight are being asked to continue to self-monitor for symptoms of COVID-19.

  • Air Canada flight 8780 on April 13.
  • Travelling from Montreal (8 a.m.) to Halifax (10:24 a.m.).
  • Passengers in rows 20-26 seats C, D and F.
  • May develop symptoms up to, and including, April 27.
     
  • Air Canada flight 8780 on April 14
  • Travelling from Montreal (7:55 a.m.) to Halifax (10:27 a.m.).
  • Passengers in rows 23-27 seats C, D and F.
  • May develop symptoms up to, and including, April 28.

EXPOSURES RELEASED APRIL 15

Mandatory testing required

Anyone who visited or worked at the following location on the specified date and time should immediately self-isolate, and take an online self-assessment COVID-19 test to arrange for testing, regardless of whether or not they have symptoms.

Individuals who do not have symptoms of COVID-19 are not required to self-isolate while waiting for test results. Individuals who have symptoms are required to self-isolate while waiting for their test results.

  • Marshall’s Bayers Lake (209 Chain Lake Dr, Halifax)
  • April 12 between 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.
  • May develop symptoms up to, and including, April 26.

Nova Scotia Health is asking anyone who visited (or worked at) the following location to get tested immediately, regardless if they are showing symptoms.

  • Burger King New Minas (9148 Commercial St., New Minas)
  • April 9 between 1:00 and 2:30 p.m.
  • May develop symptoms up to and including April 22.

Flight Exposure

Anyone on the following flights in the specified rows and seats should immediately take an online self-assessment COVID-19 test to arrange for testing, or call 811, regardless of whether or not they have symptoms. All other individuals on the flight are being asked to continue to self-monitor for symptoms of COVID-19.

  • Passengers in rows 19 to 25, seats A, B, C and D are more likely to have had close contact

Anyone who was on the following Marine Atlantic ferry crossings are asked to immediately visit covid-self-assessment.novascotia.ca/ to book a COVID-19 test,regardless of whether or not they have COVID-19 symptoms. You can also call 811 if you don’t have online access or if you have other symptoms that concern you.

  • Marine Atlantic crossing travelling on MV Blue Puttees
  • Departing from North Sydney, N.S. (Thursday, April 1) at 11:45 a.m. arriving in Port-aux-Basques, N.L. the same day.
  • May develop symptoms up to, and including, April 15, 2021.
     
  • Marine Atlantic crossing travelling on MV Blue Puttees
  • Departing from Port-aux-Basques, N.L. (Tuesday, April 6) at 12:30 p.m. arriving in North Sydney, N.S. on the same day.
  • May develop symptoms up to, and including, April 20, 2021.

EXPOSURES RELEASED APRIL 8

Testing required

Anyone who visited or worked at the following locations on the specified date and time should immediately self-isolate, and take an online self-assessment COVID-19 test, or call 811, to arrange for testing, regardless of whether or not they have symptoms.

  • Spring Garden Place Mall Food Court (5640 Spring Garden Rd)
  • April 6 between 3:30 p.m. and 6 p.m.
  • May develop symptoms up to, and including, April 20.

For the following locations, if you have symptoms of COVID-19 you are required to self-isolate while you wait for your test result. If you do not have any symptoms of COVID-19 you do not need to self-isolate while you wait for your test result.

  • April 6 between 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.
  • May develop symptoms up to, and including, April 20.
  • Dollarama Young Kempt Centre (6061 Young St, Halifax)
  • April 6 between 11:30 a.m. and 3 p.m.
  • May develop symptoms up to, and including, April 20.
  • Irving Big Stop New Minas (5477 Prospect Rd, New Minas)
  • April 7 between 12:30 a.m. and 2 a.m.
  • May develop symptoms up to, and including, April 21.

EXPOSURES RELEASED APRIL 7

Testing required

Anyone who visited or worked at the following locations on the specified date and time should immediately self-isolate, and take an online self-assessment COVID-19 test, or call 811, to arrange for testing, regardless of whether or not they have symptoms.

  • Wacky’s Flooring & Commercial Flooring (141 Thornhill Dr. Dartmouth)
  • March 25 between 10:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.
  • May develop symptoms up to, and including, April 8.

  • March 25 between 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
  • May develop symptoms up to, and including, April 8.

  • March 25 between 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m.
  • May develop symptoms up to, and including, April 8.

If you have symptoms of COVID-19 you are required to self-isolate while you wait for your test result. If you do not have any symptoms of COVID-19 you do not need to self-isolate while you wait for your test result.

EXPOSURES RELEASED APRIL 6

Flight exposure

Anyone who was on the following flight in the specified rows and seats should visit https://covid-self-assessment.novascotia.ca/en to book a COVID-19 test, regardless of whether or not they have COVID-19 symptoms. You can also call 811 if you don’t have online access or if you have other symptoms that concern you.

  • West Jet flight 232 on April 2
  • Departing from Calgary (9:30 a.m.) and arriving in Halifax (5:30 p.m.).
  • Passengers in rows 13-19, seats A, B, C and D are asked to immediately visit https://covid-self-assessment.novascotia.ca/en to book a COVID-19 test, regardless of whether or not they have COVID-19 symptoms.

All other passengers on this flight should continue to self-isolate as required and monitor for signs and symptoms of COVID-19. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus on this flight on the named date may develop symptoms up to, and including, April 16.

EXPOSURES RELEASED APRIL 3

Testing required

Public Health is advising anyone who may have been on the following flights to seek testing for COVID-19 immediately.

  • Air Canada flight 604 from Toronto to Halifax
  • Rows 18-24
  • April 1 from 7:45 to 11:00 a.m.
  • May develop symptoms up to, and including April 15.
  • Air Canada flight 624 from Toronto to Halifax
  • Rows 18-24
  • March 28 from 9:15 p.m. to 12:15 a.m. on March 29
  • May develop symptoms up to, and including April 13

COVID-19 SYMPTOMS

Anyone who experiences a fever or new or worsening cough, or two or more of the following new or worsening symptoms, is encouraged to take an online test or call 811 to determine if they need to be tested for COVID-19:

  • Sore throat
  • Headache
  • Shortness of breath
  • Runny nose/nasal congestion

COVID ALERT APP

Canada’s COVID-19 Alert app is available in Nova Scotia.

The app, which can be downloaded through the Apple App Store or Google Play, notifies users if they may have been exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19.
