Nova Scotia RCMP are investigating a fire that took place on Main Street in Canning late Saturday night.
Two men were pulled out of the blaze and taken to hospital.
A 44-year-old man has succumbed from his injuries. The other, a 53-year-old man, is in critical condition.
Authorities are not releasing names until families are notified of the incident.
The cause of the fire is still unknown.
