Body of missing Lunenburg County man found in lake

Searchers have located the body of a 53-year-old man reported missing in Nova Scotia’s Lunenburg County.
Raymond Levern Whynacht of New Canada, N.S. was last seen around 9 p.m. Saturday.
The RCMP have been searching the New Canada area since he disappeared. An RCMP dive team, helicopter and K9 unit were assisting in the search Tuesday morning.
Police say searchers found Whynacht’s body in New Canada Lake around 11:50 a.m.
Police did not release a cause of death but they say foul play is not suspected.
