Ceilidh Millar is a videographer based out of Halifax.
Originally from Vancouver, Ceilidh began her journalism career at age 16 when she was selected as a student reporter for a local news program. Over the past decade, she has held various positions including community reporter, weather anchor, and lifestyle TV host at stations in both British Columbia and Saskatchewan.
Some of her favourite TV moments include shearing a sheep live on TV, auditioning for Jeopardy!, and completing the Canadian Armed Forces physical fitness test.
As an avid volunteer, she’s received several awards for her community service including the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal and the British Columbia Community Achievement Award.
Ceilidh joined the CTV Atlantic team in 2019 as co-host and weather specialist on CTV Morning Live while Jennifer Grudic was on maternity leave.
In 2020, Ceilidh made the transition to the role of videographer.
As her name suggests, Ceilidh is always up for a celebration. Outside of her work, you’ll most likely find Ceilidh in a local coffee shop or exploring the East Coast with her fiancé!
