A chimney fire forced an evacuation at Nova Scotia’s White Point Beach Resort Tuesday.
Guests and staff were told to leave the resort’s main lodge around dinnertime as firefighters extinguished the flames.
There was no structural damage to the building but the chimney will need repairs.
No one was injured and the fire did not affect guest accommodations.
The resort reopened last November after a devastating fire leveled the lodge in Nov. 2011.
